Peter Vollert, manager of Ecoflo-Wash Wastewater Management, is an engineer by profession and has a wealth of experience in this field. His experience includes site selection, feasibility studies, project front end loading, design management, tendering and delivery management. Peter has particular skills in managing complex project teams involving a wide range of disciplines on small to medium sized projects.
He has worked on a wide diversity of projects ranging from residential land subdivisions, defence facilities, community and educational facilities, industrial and mining projects. Born in Lae, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Peter is also a strong advocate of good environmental stewardship and brings his background in engineering to create end-to-end innovative solutions for waste management. These solutions are widely used in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
Joe Barnewall Business Advisor
Joe Barnewall has seventeen years’ experience in top level leadership roles and fourteen years’ experience in directorship roles. His particular interest is mentoring and coaching leadership teams and developing organisational culture. This interest has evolved from a career driving change and change management including four years as Chair of The Executive Connection group TECR201. Joe’s change management expertise was fostered managing development projects over a fifteen year career working in less developed countries.in third world countries. This has been strengthened by an MBA and a Diploma from the AICD.
A skill set today is the practice of leadership and governance including coaching and mentoring executives. A second area of expertise is business improvement and financial management for sustainable business. His work with the Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry demonstrated his ability to drive a change agenda. This challenging role required both tact and fortitude while rebuilding the commercial operation and rebuilding the membership base. Joe’s management team delivered successive million-dollar profit improvements year-on-year whilst continuing the organisation’s lobbying and advocacy agenda.
Jo Fairley Vice President Marketing
Jo Fairley, Vice President Marketing at Ecoflo, comes with a strong background in marketing and communications in the Higher Education sector. Her qualifications include an honours degree in Social Sciences from Edinburgh University and a Graduate Diploma in Front Line Management. Living in Australia for over 20 years she has performed in a variety of marketing roles and has an interest in identifying areas for opportunity and development and defining the strategy for getting there.
Gavin McLean Operations Manager
Gavin McLean, Operations Manager at Ecoflo comes with a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the construction and manufacturing industries. His qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Management and is also currently studying for his MBA. Gavin is able to provide good insight into the practices and processes of both staff and manufacturing given his previous experience as a trade qualified cabinet maker, joiner, and machinist.
Rolf Vollert Director, Ecoflo
Rolf Vollert is a consulting engineer with over 30 years experience in the industrial and mining sectors. His strengths come from a broad range of experience in project development from concept to commissioning as well as in a wide range of industries. As well as his role as Director of Ecoflo, he is also manager and partner in Neubau Pty Ltd which supplies engineering services to the industrial and mining sectors. Rolf’s skills include feasibility studies, detail design, contract preparation and administration and project management of multidisciplinary projects.
